Spring Fever

As the snow starts to melt we are all very busy here at Best Irrigation gearing up for a new season. Although we have a ton of new information we want to get to you, we figured our first post of the year would be to clue you in on what a sprinkler man does during the winter. Early in December we took a trip to San Diego, CA for the 28th Annual International Irrigation Show. The Irrigation Association put on a great show which included exhibitions, certification exams, a new product contest, technical sessions, education courses, industry meetings, business seminars, industry tours, networking and more! The trip was extra special as it gave Nick an excuse to take his girlfriend Maryann to southern California while she was on break from dental school. Nick proposed the first night we were there even though it was “sprinkling” during the sunset they were trying to catch. The two will be married this August (don’t worry we won’t shut down for more than a Saturday). Nick spent the rest of the winter wedding planning and coaching high school and middle school wrestling. The rest of us caught up on some sleep and tried to get enough work done around the house before the long work hours of the summer hit again. That’s it for now as we are going to make a serious effort to update you of all the happenings at Best Irrigation this summer. If our timing is right our current customers should get a postcard in the mail right as the weather starts to break. We look forward to seeing you in ’08.
